Cargo Cycling winner with custom-made cargo bike at PostNL testing ground

PostNL organised a testing ground in Ede (NL), to find the ideal cargo bike for postal delivery. Ten suppliers participated and ‘‘little Nijland’’ has come out as the big winner. PostNL indicates that the difference was mainly made by responding well to the needs of the end user, ‘‘Nijland Cycling was involved in the entire process and was able to fully translate that into a customized cargo bike’’. 

The testing ground is part of a total program in which PostNL wants to help realize its sustainability ambitions. Due to the success of this testing ground, further roll-out to other cities will be the next step.
